Friday — Opening Day & Auction
The 2026 show opened Friday morning with a cheerful buzz as attendees greeted friends, browsed the showroom and raffle tables. This year, the show featured 12 dealers offering an impressive range of antique, vintage, studio, and handmade buttons.

New dealers included: Leah Corey (NY) – a Roycroft Master whose artistry drew steady attention, Nancie Glazer (MA) – NERBA President, bringing a fresh regional perspective; Megan McGory‑Gleason (CT) – recently transitioned her business to focus on vintage buttons; Karen Smock (PA) – whose table presented a colorful array of hand-crafted Zwirnknöpf and Dorset Buttons.

Returning dealers included:
Sharon Braund (NY), Cathy Brown (PA – Brown’s Button Frames), Jennifer Chehovich (NY – Down Buttonwood Lane), Nance Darrow (OH), Kathy Doody (NY), Donna Ledoux (NJ), Millicent Safro (NY – Tender Buttons), and Kathy Schaller (NY).

To accommodate the full dealer lineup, the raffle and registration tables were moved into the corridor — a small adjustment that made the showroom feel open and easy to navigate.

As always, the dealer room buzzed with conversation, discoveries, and the familiar feeling that “there never seems to be enough time to shop.”

Beverly once again led the New Collector workshop. She had eight attendees this year, a mix of new and returning participants, and she welcomed them all with her usual enthusiasm.

The highlight of the day was the Friday evening auction, attended by about 40 people. Bidding was lively and good‑natured, with friends and family members often competing against each other and driving prices up! It was a spirited and fun start to the weekend.
